Torans and festive garlands adorn the doorways, and the light of ghee lamps spreads its beauty everywhere. ॥२॥\n\nकदलीखंभ कलश सोनेके मोतिन चोक पुराये ॥\nउठत सुगंध झकोर चहुं दिश जल गुलाब छिरकाये ॥३॥\nBanana-tree pillars and golden kalashas are arranged, and the chaukas are decorated with pearls. Waves of fragrance spread in every direction as rosewater is sprinkled. ॥३॥\n\nआये विप्र महाकुल प्रोहित करी वेद विधि भारी ॥\nगणिक लग्न देखत मुख बोलत हे यह शिशु अवतारी ॥४॥\nLearned Brahmins and the family priest arrive and perform the Vedic rites with great care. They sing the sacred glory of Raghupati, crying aloud, “Jaya! Jaya! Jaya!” ॥७॥\n\nकिये अयाचक सबहिनकों श्रीविट्टलेश बडदानी ॥\nहयगज हेम धाम धरणी धन दीये करि सनमानी ॥८॥\nThe greatly generous Shri Vitthalesh gives so abundantly that no one remains in need. Honouring everyone, He gives horses, elephants, gold, homes, land, and wealth. ॥८॥\n\nदेत असीस चले घरघरकों कीरत करत अपार ॥\nरसिकदास गावे कहा मुखतें शेष न पावे पार ॥९॥\nGiving their blessings and endlessly praising His glory, they depart for their homes.
