Govind Prabhu, the lifter of Giriraj, Shri Vallabh, giver of joy. ॥१॥\n\nयुगल रसिक शिरमोरें ॥ नवनागर नृप नंद किशोरें ॥ वेद परम रुचिराजें ॥ गिरिधर टहल महल बिचसाजें ॥छंद ॥\nHe is foremost among the rasikas of the Divine Couple. Nand Kishor is the ever-fresh, graceful Lord. He is supremely pleasing to the Vedas. He arranges Giridhar’s seva within the mahal. ॥छंद ॥\n\nसाजेंजु टहल महल निरंतर नृपति निजजन कारणें ॥ शृंगार भोजन सुभग शय्या ललित गिरिवर धारणें ॥ गुण गान नृत्य सुतान मानो अंग सामल गोरें ॥ गोविंदप्रभु गिरिराज उद्धरण युगल रसिक शिरमोरें ॥२॥\nHe continually arranges seva in the mahal for the Lord and for His own people: shringar, food, a beautiful resting-place, and the lovely Girivar-dhari. There is singing of virtues, dancing and beautiful melodies, as though the dark and fair forms were before one’s eyes. Govind Prabhu, the lifter of Giriraj, foremost among the rasikas of the Divine Couple. ॥२॥\n\nगुणनिधि श्रीगिरिधारी ॥ पूरण पुरुषोत्तम भक्त हितकारी ॥ करुणा किये पति परम उदार ॥ अवलोकित गुण पतित उद्धार ॥छंद ॥\nShri Giridhari is the treasure of virtues, the complete Purushottam, the benefactor of devotees. The Lord is supremely generous in showing compassion; by beholding His virtues, the fallen are uplifted. ॥छंद ॥\n\nपतित उद्धारण विश्व तारण सकल सुरनर सेवई ॥ गुण गाय गोविंदराय राजा बालकृष्ण सुदेवई ॥ भये श्रीवल्लभराय रघुपति श्रीयदुपति सामलघन ॥ गोविंदप्रभु गिरिराज उद्धारण गुणनिधि श्रीगिरिधरण ॥३ ॥\nHe uplifts the fallen and carries the world across; all devas and human beings serve Him. Govindray, Raja Balkrishna and Sudev sing His virtues. Shri Vallabhray is Raghupati, Shri Yadupati, the dark rain-cloud-hued One. Govind Prabhu, the lifter of Giriraj, Shri Giridhar, treasure of virtues. ॥३ ॥\n\nताहि शरण जे जीवआवे ॥ गोकुलपतिकों अतिहीभावे ॥ निर्भयकर शिरधारे ॥ चित्रगुप्त निज कागद फारे ॥छंद ॥\nThose souls who come into His refuge become exceedingly dear to Gokulpati. He makes them fearless and holds them upon His head; Chitragupta tears up his own records. ॥छंद ॥\n\nचित्रगुप्त कागद फारडरें डरप धारेताहिकें ॥ सुछंद निजजन नित्यमुदितमन नेकडरहि न काहिकें ॥ निजजन प्रति प्रीति निशदिन रास रसिकही भावे ॥ गोविंदप्रभु गिरिराज उद्धारण ताई शरण जे जीव आवे ॥४ ॥\nChitragupta tears up the records, holding fear before such a one. His own people remain free and ever joyful in mind, without the slightest fear of anyone. Day and night He has love for His own people; rasa alone pleases the Rasika.
