Lightning flutters like banners and flags, increasing the splendor, while the clouds thunder like resounding kettledrums. ॥२ ॥\n\nआगें आगें धाय धाय बादर वर्षत जाय व्यारनकी बहुकन ठोर ठोर छिरकायो ॥ हरी हरी भूमि-पर बूढनकी शोभा बाढी वरण बरन रंग बिछोना बिछायो ॥३ ॥\nThe clouds rush ahead, pouring down rain, while the winds scatter showers here and there. Upon the fresh green earth, the beauty of the plants increases, spreading a many-colored covering across the ground. ॥३ ॥\n\nबांधेहे विरही चोर कीनहे जतन रोर संजोगी साधनसों मिल अति सचुपायो ॥ नंददास प्रभु नंदनंदनके आज्ञाकारी अति सुखकारी व्रजवासीन मनभायो ॥४ ॥\nThe sorrow of those in separation is restrained, while those who are together find great joy through every means.
