His whole body and garments are covered with beautiful colours; a gentle, pleasing fragrance comes from Him. He is very sleepy, and His eyes look tired and heavy. ॥१॥\n\nअलक भ्रकुटि भाल गाल, चिबुक भूषन अति रसाल, रसमसे रंजित गुलाल भाँमति रस भारे ॥  \nडगमगाई चलति पाई मुख जँभाई मुसिकाई मद सुरत चिह्न चरचित तानन सुनि प्यारे साँचें बोल प्रीतम- प्यारे मन सलोल बालम बदन बोल अपुने बिसतारे ॥\nHis curls, brows, forehead, cheeks, chin, and ornaments are exceedingly charming, all richly coloured with gulal and filled with festive joy. His steps are unsteady as He walks; He yawns and smiles, and signs of the night’s Phag-play are visible upon Him. Hearing the beloved speak truthfully, the playful-hearted darling begins to answer in His own words.\n\nगोकुल प्रभु भले जु भले वेऊ भली, भ्रकुटि जिन भुराए आए हमारे  सौं यह करन उन सों जारि बिजारे ॥३॥\nGokul’s Lord is good indeed, and she too is good; do not furrow Your brows.
