Seeing the beauty of His eyes, the moon is put to shame and hides itself within the clouds. ॥१॥\n\nकोउ मृदंग कोउ ताल कोउ जंत्र कोउ रवाव मृदुल गान कीये । तीन ग्राम सुरभदे जनावत नंदकुमार कर वेनु लीये ॥२॥  \nOne plays the mridang, another the cymbals, another an instrument, and another the rabab, making gentle music. Nandakumar, holding the flute in His hand, reveals the distinctions of musical notes through the three grāmas. ॥२॥\n\nकमल बरन सिर बन्यो टिपारो काछनी पीत कटि बंदक सीये । मानीक दूती सभरन उपरेना कनक खचित मनि पदिक हीये ॥३॥  \nA lotus-coloured tiparo adorns His head; a yellow kachhani is fastened at His waist. A ruby-bright upper cloth rests over His ornaments, and upon His chest shines a jeweled pendant set in gold. ॥३॥\n\nउरवन मास मधुप झंकारत सुरन देत मधु स्वाद लीये ॥ कृष्णदास लीला लाल गोवर्धनधारी वृजजन पीय रसीये ॥४॥  \nUpon the vanamala at His chest, bees hum, producing musical notes as they taste its nectar.
