On one side it seems like moonlight, and on the other like lightning flashing within a dark cloud; when He smiles, He steals the heart. ॥१॥\n\nकबहूं करपल्लवसों निखारत ऊंचेले धरत जब निकसत पुर्णशशिजोहे ॥ सूरदासमदनमोहन कबके ठाढे निहारत त्रिभुवनमें  उपमाकूं कोहे ॥२॥  \nAt times He clears it aside with His tender hand and lifts it up; then His face appears like the full moon emerging.
