His wondrous and charming childhood deeds, O lotus-eyed One, bring happiness to the people of Vraj. ॥१॥\n\nदोहन मथन खंडन गृह लेपन मंडन सुत पति सेवा । चारि याम अवकाश नहीं पल सुमिरत कृष्ण देवदेवा ॥२॥\nMilking, churning, grinding, plastering the house, adorning it, and serving their children and husbands—they have no leisure through the four watches of the day, yet every moment they remember Krishna, the Lord of lords. ॥२॥\n\nभवनभवन प्रति दीप बिराजत कर कंकन नूपुर बाजें । परमानंद घोष कौतूहल निरखि भाँति सुरपति जिय लाजें ॥३॥\nIn every home lamps shine, while bracelets on their hands and anklets resound.
