I went down to the depths and subdued the Kaliya serpent; I did not see the Hāū there. Mother, what is this Hāū like? ॥१॥\n\nवामनरूप छल्यौ बलि राजा तीन पेंड वसुधाऊ । बाँधि समुद्र सबै दल लूटे तहाँ न देख्यौ हाऊ ॥२॥\nIn the form of Vamana, I outwitted King Bali and measured the earth in three strides. I bound the ocean and plundered all the armies; there I did not see the Hāū. ॥२॥\n\nराम रूप व्है रावण मार्यौ दश मस्तक बीस भुजाऊ । सुवरन लंका विघन करी है तहाँ न देखे हाऊ ॥३॥\nTaking the form of Rama, I slew Ravana, who had ten heads and twenty arms. I destroyed golden Lanka; there I did not see the Hāū. ॥३॥\n\nबालकपन में माटी खाई तीन लोक दिखराई । सूरदास प्रभु अद्भुत लीला मोपै बरनी न जाई ॥४॥\nIn childhood, He ate earth and revealed the three worlds.
