आगें आउरी छकहारी ॥ जब तुम टेरे तबमैं बोली सुनी न टेर तिहारी ॥१॥ मैया छाक सवारे पठई तूं कित रही अवारी ॥ अहो गोपाल गैल हौं भूली मधुरे बोलन परवारी ॥२॥ गोवर्धनउद्धरणधरीसों प्रीति बढी अतिभारी ॥ जनभगवान मग्न भई ग्वालिनी तनकी दशाविसारी ॥३॥

आगें आउरी छकहारी ॥ जब तुम टेरे तबमैं बोली सुनी न टेर तिहारी ॥१॥
“Come forward, O woman bringing the food!” “When You called me, I answered, but You did not hear my reply.” ॥१॥

मैया छाक सवारे पठई तूं कित रही अवारी ॥ अहो गोपाल गैल हौं भूली मधुरे बोलन परवारी ॥२॥
“Mother has carefully prepared and sent My meal. Why have you taken so long?” “O Gopal, I lost my way and was delayed,” she replies in a sweet voice. ॥२॥

गोवर्धनउद्धरणधरीसों प्रीति बढी अतिभारी ॥ जनभगवान मग्न भई ग्वालिनी तनकी दशाविसारी ॥३॥
Her love for the Lord who lifted Govardhan grew very deep. The cowherd woman became so absorbed in Bhagavan that she forgot all awareness of herself and her body. ॥३॥
