आज अमावस दीपमालिका बड़ी पर्वणी हे गोपाल ॥ घर-घर गोपी मंगलगावें सुरभी वृषभ सिंगारो लाल ॥१॥ कहत यशोदा सुनो मनमोहन अपने तातकी आज्ञालेहु ॥ बारो दीपक बहुत लाडिले कर उजियारो अपने गेह ॥२॥ हँस व्रजनाथ कहत मातासों धौरी धेनु सिंगारों जाय ॥ परमानंददासको ठाकुर जाय भावतहें निशदिन गाय ॥३॥

आज अमावस दीपमालिका बड़ी पर्वणी हे गोपाल ॥
घर-घर गोपी मंगलगावें सुरभी वृषभ सिंगारो लाल ॥१॥
Today is Amavasya, the great festival of Deepmalika, O Gopal. In every home the Gopis sing auspicious songs; Lala, adorn the Surabhi cows and the bulls. ॥१॥

कहत यशोदा सुनो मनमोहन अपने तातकी आज्ञालेहु ॥
बारो दीपक बहुत लाडिले कर उजियारो अपने गेह ॥२॥
Yashoda says, “Listen, Manmohan, take Your father’s permission. Light many lamps, my Ladile, and fill Your home with light.” ॥२॥

हँस व्रजनाथ कहत मातासों धौरी धेनु सिंगारों जाय ॥
परमानंददासको ठाकुर जाय भावतहें निशदिन गाय ॥३॥
Smiling, Vrajanath says to His mother, “I am going to adorn the cow Dhauri.” Paramananddas says: his Thakur goes to the cows, who are dear to Him day and night. ॥३॥

aaj amaavas deepamaalikaa baree parvanee he Gopaal ||
ghar-ghar gopee mangalagaaven surabhee vrishabh singaaro laal ||1||

kahat Yashodaa suno manamohan apne taatakee aagyaalehu ||
baaro deepak bahut laadile kar ujiyaaro apne geh ||2||

hans vrajanaath kahat maataason dhauree dhenu singaaron jaay ||
paramaanandadaasako thaakur jaay bhaavatahen nishadin gaay ||3||
