आज दशहरा शुभ दिन नीकौ विजय करौ पिय प्यारीपै आज॥ घेरी है बिकट मदन गढ़ गाढ़ें तोर मेंड़ लालन कर हो राज ॥१॥ इतनी बात सुनत नंदनंदन बिहँसि उठे दल कीनों साज ॥ रसिकप्रभु पिय रति पति जीत्यो नुपूर किंकिणी रुनुझुनु बाज ॥२॥

आज दशहरा शुभ दिन नीकौ विजय करौ पिय प्यारीपै आज॥
घेरी है बिकट मदन गढ़ गाढ़ें तोर मेंड़ लालन कर हो राज ॥१॥
Today is Dussehra, a beautiful and auspicious day—Piya, win over Pyari today. The formidable fortress of love is strongly enclosed; Lala, cross its boundaries and establish Your reign. ॥१॥

इतनी बात सुनत नंदनंदन बिहँसि उठे दल कीनों साज ॥
रसिकप्रभु पिय रति पति जीत्यो नुपूर किंकिणी रुनुझुनु बाज ॥२॥
Hearing these words, Nandanandan smiled, arose, and made ready His company. Rasik Prabhu says: Piya won the Lord of Love’s victory, while anklets and little bells rang softly, runjhun, runjhun. ॥२॥

aaj dashaharaa shubh din neekau vijay karau piy pyaareepai aaj ||
gheree hai bikat madan garh gaarhen tor menr laalan kar ho raaj ||1||

itanee baat sunat Nand-nandan bihansi uthe dal keenon saaj ||
rasikaprabhu piy rati pati jeetyo nupoor kinkinee runujhunu baaj ||2||
