आज दिवारी को दिन नीको ॥ निस बासुर दिपक सब जोये ॥ जगमगात बिधना बिधनिको ॥१॥ पट भुखन पहराये कहन ले कटीतट फैटा माल हिको ॥ फुले फिरत सकल व्रजवासी उमंग बढ़ी मनहीको ॥२॥ विविध सुगन्ध सारी दे घ्रत परिपुरन साजनीको ॥ जगमगात मानों जल में सखी श्रीविट्ठल बड़ भाग को ॥३॥

आज दिवारी को दिन नीको ॥ निस बासुर दिपक सब जोये ॥ जगमगात बिधना बिधनिको ॥१॥
Today is the beautiful day of Diwali. Lamps are lit everywhere, by night and by day. All the festive arrangements shine and sparkle brightly. ॥१॥

पट भुखन पहराये कहन ले कटीतट फैटा माल हिको ॥ फुले फिरत सकल व्रजवासी उमंग बढ़ी मनहीको ॥२॥
Everyone has dressed in fine garments and ornaments, with waistcloths, sashes, and garlands adorning them. All the people of Vraj move about in delight, and the joy within their hearts keeps increasing. ॥२॥

विविध सुगन्ध सारी दे घ्रत परिपुरन साजनीको ॥ जगमगात मानों जल में सखी श्रीविट्ठल बड़ भाग को ॥३॥
Many fragrant preparations have been arranged, and the lamps are filled completely with ghee. O friend, everything shines and glimmers as though reflected upon water. Shri Vitthal’s great good fortune is resplendent in this festive scene. ॥३॥
