आजहरि मणिखंभनिकटह्वे जहां गोरसकीगोरी ॥ निजप्रतिबिंब सिखावत योंशिशु प्रकटकरो जिनचोरी ॥१॥ अर्धविभागआजते हमतुम भलीबनीहै जोरी ॥ माखनखाओ कितहींडारतहो छांडहेहोमत भोरी ॥२॥ हिस्सासबै लिये चाहतहो यह बात है थोरी ॥ मीठो परमअधिक रुचिलागे देहूं काढ़कमोरी ॥३॥ प्रेमउमग धीरज नरह्योतब प्रकटहँसी मुखमोरी ॥ सूरदासप्रभु सकुंचनिरख भजगए कुंजकीखोरी ॥४॥

आज हरि मणिखं | Aaj Hari Manikhan

आजहरि मणिखंभनिकटह्वे जहां गोरसकीगोरी ॥ निजप्रतिबिंब सिखावत योंशिशु प्रकटकरो जिनचोरी ॥१॥
Today, Hari stands near a jewelled pillar, where a pot of butter is kept. Seeing His own reflection in the pillar, the little child tells it, “Do not reveal that I am stealing!” ॥१॥

अर्धविभागआजते हमतुम भलीबनीहै जोरी ॥ माखनखाओ कितहींडारतहो छांडहेहोमत भोरी ॥२॥
“From today onwards, you and I shall each have half. We make a fine pair! Eat the butter, but why are you throwing it away? Stop being foolish!” ॥२॥

हिस्सासबै लिये चाहतहो यह बात है थोरी ॥ मीठो परमअधिक रुचिलागे देहूं काढ़कमोरी ॥३॥
“You want to take the whole share for yourself! That is no small matter. If you like this sweet butter so much, I shall take some more out of the pot and give it to you.” ॥३॥

प्रेमउमग धीरज नरह्योतब प्रकटहँसी मुखमोरी ॥ सूरदासप्रभु सकुंचनिरख भजगए कुंजकीखोरी ॥४॥
Overcome with affection, the cowherd woman watching Him could no longer contain herself. She burst into laughter and turned her face aside. Surdas says that the Lord, seeing her, became shy and ran away into the lane leading to the kunj. ॥४॥

nijapratibimb sikhaavat yonshishu prakatakaro jinachoree ||1||

ardhavibhaagaaajate hamatum bhaleebaneehai joree ||
maakhanakhaao kitaheendaarataho chhaandahehomat bhoree ||2||

hissaasabai liye chaahataho yah baat hai thoree ||
meetho paramaadhik ruchilaage dehoon kaarhakamoree ||3||

premaumag dheeraj narahyotab prakatahansee mukhamoree ||
sooradaasaprabhu sakunchanirakh bhajagae kunjakeekhoree ||4||
