आज कुहूंकी रात्र माधो दीपमालिका मंगलचार ॥ खेलोजूथ सहित संकर्षण मोहन मूरति नंदकुमार ॥१॥ कहत यशोदा सुनों मन मोहन चंदन लेप शरीर करो ॥ पानफूल चोवा अंबर मणिमाला ले कंठधरो ॥२॥ गोक्रीडन पुन काल्ह होयगो नंदादिक देखेंगे आय ॥ परमानंददास संगलीने खिरक खिलावत धौरीगाय ॥३॥

आज कुहूंकी रात्र माधो दीपमालिका मंगलचार ॥ खेलोजूथ सहित संकर्षण मोहन मूरति नंदकुमार ॥१॥
Tonight is the new-moon night, Madhav; rows of lamps shine amid auspicious celebrations. Play with Sankarshan and your companions, O enchanting Nandakumar. ॥१॥

कहत यशोदा सुनों मन मोहन चंदन लेप शरीर करो ॥ पानफूल चोवा अंबर मणिमाला ले कंठधरो ॥२॥
Yashoda says, “Listen, Manmohan: anoint your body with sandalwood paste. Accept betel, flowers, fragrant chova, and garments, and wear a jewelled necklace around your neck.” ॥२॥

गोक्रीडन पुन काल्ह होयगो नंदादिक देखेंगे आय ॥ परमानंददास संगलीने खिरक खिलावत धौरीगाय ॥३॥
Tomorrow there will be play with the cows; Nanda and the others will come to watch. Taking Paramananddas along, he feeds the white cows in the cattle enclosure. ॥३॥
