आज मदन महोत्सव राधा ॥ मदन गोपाल बसंत खेलतहें नागर रूप अगाधा ॥१॥ निधिबुधवार पंचमी मंगल ऋतुकुसमाकर आई ॥ जगतबिमोहन मकरध्वजकी जहांतहां फिरीदुहाई ॥२॥ मनमथ राजसिंघासन बैठे तिलकपिता महदीनों ॥ छत्रचँवर तूणीर संखधुनि बिकट चाप करलीनों ॥३॥ चलोसखी तहां देखनजैये हरि उपजावत प्रीति ॥ परमानंददास को ठाकुर जानतहें सबरीति ॥४॥

आज मदन महोत्सव राधा ॥
Today is the festival of Madan for Rādhā. ॥

मदन गोपाल बसंत खेलतहें नागर रूप अगाधा ॥१॥
Madan Gopāl plays in spring, in His deep and wondrous beauty. ॥१ ॥

निधिबुधवार पंचमी मंगल ऋतुकुसमाकर आई ॥ जगतबिमोहन मकरध्वजकी जहांतहां फिरीदुहाई ॥२॥
On this auspicious Panchamī, the beautiful spring season has come. The glory of Makaradhvaja, who enchants the whole world, is proclaimed everywhere. ॥२ ॥

मनमथ राजसिंघासन बैठे तिलकपिता महदीनों ॥ छत्रचँवर तूणीर संखधुनि बिकट चाप करलीनों ॥३॥
Manmatha sits upon the royal throne; his father places the auspicious mark upon him. He takes the royal umbrella, fly-whisk, quiver, the sound of the conch, and his mighty bow. ॥३ ॥

चलोसखी तहां देखनजैये हरि उपजावत प्रीति ॥ परमानंददास को ठाकुर जानतहें सबरीति ॥४॥
Come, sakhi, let us go there and see; Hari awakens love. Paramānand Dās’s Thākur knows all these ways. ॥४ ॥

madan Gopaal basant khelatahen naagar roop agaadhaa ||1||

nidhibudhavaar panchamee mangal ritukusamaakar aaee ||
jagatabimohan makaradhvajakee jahaantahaan phireeduhaaee ||2||

manamath raajasinghaasan baithe tilakapitaa mahadeenon ||
chhatrachanvar tooneer sankhadhuni bikat chaap karaleenon ||3||

chalosakhee tahaan dekhanajaiye hari upajaavat preeti ||
Paramaanand-daas ko thaakur jaanatahen sabareeti ||4||
