आज में देखे आलीरी सो दोऊ मिल पोढे बातें करत ॥ वदननिहारत परस कपोलन हँसहँस आंको भरत ॥१॥ कबहुक रतिकी सुरत भईरी जीयमनो एक लाज धरत ॥ रसिकप्रीतम पियप्यारी परस्पर एकरसव्है विहरत ॥२॥

आज में देखे आलीरी सो दोऊ मिल पोढे बातें करत ॥ वदननिहारत परस कपोलन हँसहँस आंको भरत ॥१॥  
O sakhi, today I saw the two of them seated together, speaking with one another. They looked at each other’s faces, gently touched each other’s cheeks, and smiled with affection. ॥१॥

कबहुक रतिकी सुरत भईरी जीयमनो एक लाज धरत ॥ रसिकप्रीतम पियप्यारी परस्पर एकरसव्है विहरत ॥२॥  
At times the remembrance of their love arose, and a gentle modesty remained in their hearts. Rasik Pritam and Piyapyari, united in one feeling, delighted together. ॥२॥

aaj men dekhe aaleeree so dooo mil podhe baaten karat ||
vadananihaarat paras kapolan hansahans aanko bharat ||1||

kabahuk ratikee surat bhaeeree jeeyamano ek laaj dharat ||
rasikapreetam piyapyaaree paraspar ekarasavhai viharat ||2||
