आज सुभगदिन वसंतपंचमी जसुमति करति बधाई ॥ विविध सुगंध उवटिकें लालकों ताते नीर न्हवाई ॥१॥ बांधीपाग बनाय सेतरंग आभूषन पहराई ॥ तनक सीसपर मोर चंद्रिका दिसदाहिनी ढरकाई ॥२॥ ग्रहग्रहतें ब्रजसुंदरि सबमिलि नंदपोरिपे आई ॥ अंबमोरके पुष्पमंजुरी कनिककलश बनाई ॥३॥ चोवाचंदन अगरकुंकुमा केसरि रंग मिलाई ॥ प्रमुदित छिरकत प्रान पियाकों अबीर गुलाल उड़ाई ॥४॥ बाजत ताल मृदंग झांझ डफ गावत गीत सुहाई ॥ तन मन धन नोछावरि कीनों आनंद उर न समाई ॥५॥ श्रीगिरिवरधर तुम चिरजीवो भक्तन के सुखदाई ॥ श्रीवल्लभ पदरज प्रतापतें हरीदास बलिजाई ॥६॥

आज सुभगदिन वसंतपंचमी | Aaj Subhagdin Vasantpanchami

आज सुभगदिन वसंतपंचमी जसुमति करति बधाई ॥
Today is the beautiful day of Vasant Panchami; Yashumatī offers her blessings.

विविध सुगंध उवटिकें लालकों ताते नीर न्हवाई ॥१॥
With various fragrant pastes, she bathes Lāl in warm water. ॥१ ॥

बांधीपाग बनाय सेतरंग आभूषन पहराई ॥
She ties His turban, dresses Him in a white-colored outfit, and puts ornaments upon Him.

तनक सीसपर मोर चंद्रिका दिसदाहिनी ढरकाई ॥२॥
Upon His head she places a small peacock-feather crest, letting it fall to one side. ॥२ ॥

ग्रहग्रहतें ब्रजसुंदरि सबमिलि नंदपोरिपे आई ॥
From every home, all the beautiful women of Vraj come together to Nanda’s doorway.

अंबमोरके पुष्पमंजुरी कनिककलश बनाई ॥३॥
They make golden pots adorned with clusters of mango and peacock flowers. ॥३ ॥

चोवाचंदन अगरकुंकुमा केसरि रंग मिलाई ॥
They mix sandalwood paste, agaru, kuṅkum, and saffron colors.

प्रमुदित छिरकत प्रान पियाकों अबीर गुलाल उड़ाई ॥४॥
Joyfully they sprinkle these upon their beloved Lāl, sending abīr and gulāl into the air. ॥४ ॥

बाजत ताल मृदंग झांझ डफ गावत गीत सुहाई ॥
Cymbals, mṛdaṅgas, and dafs play in rhythm, while lovely songs are sung.

तन मन धन नोछावरि कीनों आनंद उर न समाई ॥५॥
They offer their body, mind, and wealth completely; their joy cannot be contained in their hearts. ॥५ ॥

श्रीगिरिवरधर तुम चिरजीवो भक्तन के सुखदाई ॥
O Shri Girivardhar, may You live forever, You who bring happiness to Your devotees.

श्रीवल्लभ पदरज प्रतापतें हरीदास बलिजाई ॥६॥
By the glory of the dust of Shri Vallabh’s feet, Haridās is devoted to You completely. ॥६ ॥

vividh sugandh uvatiken laalakon taate neer nhavaaee ||1||

baandheepaag banaay setarang aabhooshan paharaaee ||
tanak seesapar mor chandrikaa disadaahinee dharakaaee ||2||

grahagrahaten brajasundari sabamili nandaporipe aaee ||
ambamorake pushpamanjuree kanikakalash banaaee ||3||

chovaachandan agarakunkumaa kesari rang milaaee ||
pramudit chhirakat praan piyaakon abeer gulaal uraaee ||4||

baajat taal mridang jhaanjh daph gaavat geet suhaaee ||
tan man dhan nochhaavari keenon aanand ur na samaaee ||5||

Shreegirivaradhar tum chirajeevo bhaktan ke sukhadaaee ||
Shreevallabh padaraj prataapaten hareedaas balijaaee ||6||
