आजभोरही राधिकायशुमति गृहआई ॥ महरिकह्योहँस दधिमथो-वृषभानदुहाई ॥१॥ सुनआयुस ठाडीभई करनेतिसुहाई ॥ रीतेमांट विलोवही चितजहांकन्हाई ॥२॥ उनकीगतिहों कहा कहों जिनदृष्टिचुराई ॥ वछरानोबेवृषभसो गैयाविसराई ॥३॥ देखदुहुंनकी यह दशा यशुमतिमुसकाई सूरदास दंपतिकथा मोपेंवरणि न जाई ॥४॥

आजभोरही राधिकायशुमति गृहआई ॥ महरिकह्योहँस दधिमथो-वृषभानदुहाई ॥१॥
Early this morning, Radhika came to Yashoda’s house. Mother Yashoda smiled and said, “O daughter of Vrishabhanu, churn the curd.” ॥१॥

सुनआयुस ठाडीभई करनेतिसुहाई ॥ रीतेमांट विलोवही चितजहांकन्हाई ॥२॥
Hearing her instruction, Radhika stood up, looking exceedingly beautiful. She began churning an empty pot, for her mind was absorbed in Kanhaiya. ॥२॥

उनकीगतिहों कहा कहों जिनदृष्टिचुराई ॥ वछरानोबेवृषभसो गैयाविसराई ॥३॥
How can I describe the state of Kanhaiya, whose gaze Radhika had stolen? He began trying to milk a bull instead of a cow, having forgotten what He was doing. ॥३॥

देखदुहुंनकी यह दशा यशुमतिमुसकाई सूरदास दंपतिकथा मोपेंवरणि न जाई ॥४॥
Seeing the condition of them both, Yashoda smiled. Surdas says, “I cannot fully describe the story of this divine couple.” ॥४॥

maharikahyohans dadhimatho-vrishabhaanaduhaaee ||1||

sunaaayus thaadeebhaee karanetisuhaaee ||
reetemaant vilovahee chitajahaankanhaaee ||2||

unakeegatihon kahaa kahon jinadrishtichuraaee ||
vachharaanobevrishabhaso gaiyaavisaraaee ||3||

dekhaduhunnakee yah dashaa yashumatimusakaaee Soordaas dampatikathaa mopenvarani na jaaee ||4||
