आवो गोपाल शृंगार बनाऊं ॥ विविधसुगंधन करो उबटनो पाछे उष्णजल लेजु न्हवाऊं ॥१॥ अंगअगोछ  गुहूं तेरी बेनी फूलन रुचरुचमाल बनाऊं ॥ सुरंगपाग जरतारीतोरा रत्नखचित शिरपेचबंधाऊं ॥२॥ बागोलाल सुनेरीछापो हरीइजारचरणन विचराऊं ॥ पटुकासरस बेंजनीरंगको हँसलीहार हमेल बनाऊं ॥३॥ गजमोतिनकेहार मनोहर वनमालाले उरपहराऊं ॥ लेदर्पण देखोमेरे प्यारे निरखनिरख उर नयनसिराऊं ॥४॥ मधुमेवा पकवानमिठाई अपने करले तुम्हें जिवाऊं ॥ विष्णुदासको यही कृपाफल बाललीलाहों निशदिनगाऊं ॥५॥

आवो गोपाल शृंगार बनाऊं ॥ विविधसुगंधन करो उबटनो पाछे उष्णजल लेजु न्हवाऊं ॥१॥  
Come, Gopal, let me adorn You. I will prepare fragrant ubtan of many kinds, and then bathe You with warm water. ॥१॥

अंगअगोछ  गुहूं तेरी बेनी फूलन रुचरुचमाल बनाऊं ॥ सुरंगपाग जरतारीतोरा रत्नखचित शिरपेचबंधाऊं ॥२॥  
I will wipe each of Your limbs and arrange Your hair, and I will make lovely garlands of flowers. I will tie a beautiful coloured turban for You with zari work, and fasten upon Your head a gem-studded ornament. ॥२॥

बागोलाल सुनेरीछापो हरीइजारचरणन विचराऊं ॥ पटुकासरस बेंजनीरंगको हँसलीहार हमेल बनाऊं ॥३॥  
I will dress You in a red bāgā with golden patterning, and green izār for Your lower dress. I will make a fine purple sash, and adorn You with a hansli and a hāmel necklace. ॥३॥

गजमोतिनकेहार मनोहर वनमालाले उरपहराऊं ॥ लेदर्पण देखोमेरे प्यारे निरखनिरख उर नयनसिराऊं ॥४॥  
I will place on Your chest a beautiful necklace of large pearls and a vanamala. Then take a mirror and look, my Beloved; as I gaze and gaze at You, my heart and eyes are satisfied. ॥४॥

मधुमेवा पकवानमिठाई अपने करले तुम्हें जिवाऊं ॥ विष्णुदासको यही कृपाफल बाललीलाहों निशदिनगाऊं ॥५॥  
With my own hands I will feed You honey, dry fruits and sweets. Vishnudas says: this alone is the fruit of grace for me—that I may sing of these child-lilas day and night. ॥५॥

patukaasaras benjaneerangako hansaleehaar hamel banaaoon ||3||

gajamotinakehaar manohar vanamaalaale urapaharaaoon ||
ledarpan dekhomere pyaare nirakhanirakh ur nayanasiraaoon ||4||

madhumevaa pakavaanamithaaee apne karale tumhen jivaaoon ||
vishnudaasako yahee kripaaphal baalaleelaahon nishadinagaaoon ||5||
