अबही लगाय गये मेरे गेह कहां मेट आये लाल अरगजा अंगको । नैन सिथिल अरु बैन सिथिल भये रंग लग्यो परसंगको ॥१॥ सुन पिया वचन अंक भर लीनी मेट्यो ताप उर विरह अनंगको । परमानन्द स्वामी की जीवन चित चोर्यो अरधंगको ॥२॥

अबही लगाय गये | Abahi Lagay Gaye

(राग हमीर | Raga Hamir)

अबही लगाय गये मेरे गेह कहां मेट आये लाल अरगजा अंगको । नैन सिथिल अरु बैन सिथिल भये रंग लग्यो परसंगको ॥१॥
Just now, my beloved came to my home. Where did He go after applying fragrant red aragaja to His body? My eyes became weak with longing, and my speech became faint; I became completely absorbed in the feelings of this meeting. ॥१॥

सुन पिया वचन अंक भर लीनी मेट्यो ताप उर विरह अनंगको । परमानन्द स्वामी की जीवन चित चोर्यो अरधंगको ॥२॥
Hearing my beloved’s words, I took Him into my arms, and the burning pain of separation in my heart was removed. Parmanand Swami says, “He has stolen my heart and become the very life of my being.” ॥२॥
