अद्भुत एक अनूपम नार ॥ नेन बेन चोवीस चोगुने सोरह चरन वरन हें चार ॥१॥ चतुराननसों प्रीत तीनपति ताके इक्कीस दूने नेन ॥ श्याम सेत आरक्त हरित पद चलत तबे बोलत है बेन ॥२॥ सात्विक राजस तामस निर्गुण एक युग्म दरसनकों आवत ॥ मगनमये सायुज मुक्तिफल त्रिविध रूप देखत सचुपावत ॥३॥ यहबिध खेल रच्यो बजमंडल दीप दिवारी प्रगट दिखाई ॥ तुर्य रूपके यूथ बिराजत छबिपर द्वारकेश बलिहारी ॥४॥

अद्भुत एक अनूपम नार ॥
नेन बेन चोवीस चोगुने सोरह चरन वरन हें चार ॥१॥
There is a wondrous and incomparable figure. Its eyes and words are twenty-four and fourfold; it has sixteen feet and four colours. ॥१॥

चतुराननसों प्रीत तीनपति ताके इक्कीस दूने नेन ॥
श्याम सेत आरक्त हरित पद चलत तबे बोलत है बेन ॥२॥
It has a connection with the four-faced one and three lords; its twenty-one are doubled as eyes. Its pieces are dark, white, red, and green; as they move, their play speaks for itself. ॥२॥

सात्विक राजस तामस निर्गुण एक युग्म दरसनकों आवत ॥
The sattvic, rajasic, tamasic, and nirguna forms appear together as one pair before the eyes.

मगनमये सायुज मुक्तिफल त्रिविध रूप देखत सचुपावत ॥३॥
Absorbed in the play, one beholds the three forms and experiences the fruit of sayujya-mukti in wonder. ॥३॥

यहबिध खेल रच्यो बजमंडल दीप दिवारी प्रगट दिखाई ॥
In this way, this game is arranged in Vrajmandal and displayed openly during the lamps of Diwali.

तुर्य रूपके यूथ बिराजत छबिपर द्वारकेश बलिहारी ॥४॥
The groups of the fourth form shine there in splendour; Dwarikesh offers himself to their beautiful sight. ॥४॥

maganamaye saayuj muktiphal trividh roop dekhat sachupaavat ||3||

yahabidh khel rachyo bajamandal deep divaaree pragat dikhaaee ||
tury roopake yooth biraajat chhabipar dvaarakesh balihaaree ||4||
