अहो मेरी लाड़िली कुंवरि कंचन पालने झूले । मृदु मुसिकानि निरखि नैन सुख कीरतिजू मनही मन फूलै ॥१॥ कबहुँक चटकोरी चटकावति कबहुँक बोलन बोले । सूरदास मदनमोहन पियकी आनंदकी रसखान खोलै ॥२॥

अहो मेरी लाड़िली कुंवरि कंचन पालने झूले ।
मृदु मुसिकानि निरखि नैन सुख कीरतिजू मनही मन फूलै ॥१॥
Ah, my beloved princess swings in a golden cradle. Seeing her gentle smile, the eyes receive happiness, and Kirtiji blossoms inwardly ॥१॥

कबहुँक चटकोरी चटकावति कबहुँक बोलन बोले ।
सूरदास मदनमोहन पियकी आनंदकी रसखान खोलै ॥२॥
Sometimes she makes little clicking sounds; sometimes she speaks words. Surdas says: she opens the mine of the rasa of joy for dear Madanmohan ॥२॥

aho meree laarilee kunvari kanchan paalane jhoole |
mridu musikaani nirakhi nain sukh keeratijoo manahee man phoolai ||1||

kabahunk chatakoree chatakaavati kabahunk bolan bole |
Soordaas madanamohan piyakee aanandakee rasakhaan kholai ||2||
