आईजू स्याम जलद घटा ओल्हर चहूंदिशतें घनघोर ॥ दंपति अति रस रंग भरे बांह जोटी फिरत कुसुम बीनत कालिंदीतटा ॥१॥ नेन्ही नेन्ही बूंदन बरखन लाग्यो तेसीय चमकत बीजुछटा ॥ गोविंद प्रभु पिय प्यारी उठि चलि ओढें लालपट दोरलियो जाय बंसीबटा ॥२॥

आईजू स्याम जलद घटा ओल्हर चहूंदिशतें घनघोर ॥ दंपति अति रस रंग भरे बांह जोटी फिरत कुसुम बीनत कालिंदीतटा ॥१॥
Today dark rainclouds have gathered densely on every side. The divine pair, filled with joyful rasa, walk together along the bank of Kalindi, gathering flowers with their arms linked. ॥१॥

नेन्ही नेन्ही बूंदन बरखन लाग्यो तेसीय चमकत बीजुछटा ॥ गोविंद प्रभु पिय प्यारी उठि चलि ओढें लालपट दोरलियो जाय बंसीबटा ॥२॥
Tiny raindrops begin to fall, while flashes of lightning shine brightly. Govind says: Prabhu and Pyari rise and go together, covered with a red cloth, making their way toward Bansivat. ॥२॥

aaeejoo syaam jalad ghataa olhar chahoondishaten ghanaghor ||
dampati ati ras rang bhare baanh jotee phirat kusum beenat kaalindeetataa ||1||

nenhee nenhee boondan barakhan laagyo teseey chamakat beejuchhataa ||
Govind prabhu piy pyaaree uthi chali odhen laalapat doraliyo jaay banseebataa ||2||
