आज पट पीतकी छबि पाई ॥ श्यामघटा जुर सघन देखियत न्हेनी बूंदें आई ॥१॥ मोरचंद शिर मुकुट बिराजत इन्द्र धनुष तिहि ठांई ॥ कानन कुण्डल दामिनी दमकत वरसत नीर सुहाई ॥२॥ मोतीनमाल मानो बग पंगति सुन्दरता झरलाई ॥ सूरदास प्रभु कहांलो बरनों यह छबिकी अधिकाई ॥३॥

आज पट पीतकी छबि पाई ॥ श्यामघटा जुर सघन देखियत न्हेनी बूंदें आई ॥१॥
Today the yellow garment has revealed its full beauty. Dense dark rainclouds are gathered, and fine droplets begin to fall. ॥१॥

मोरचंद शिर मुकुट बिराजत इन्द्र धनुष तिहि ठांई ॥ कानन कुण्डल दामिनी दमकत वरसत नीर सुहाई ॥२॥
A peacock-feather ornament shines upon His crown, like a rainbow in that very place. His earrings flash like lightning, while the falling rain is pleasing to behold. ॥२॥

मोतीनमाल मानो बग पंगति सुन्दरता झरलाई ॥ सूरदास प्रभु कहांलो बरनों यह छबिकी अधिकाई ॥३॥
His pearl garland seems like a row of white herons, pouring forth beauty. Surdas says: how far can I describe the greatness of this splendor of Prabhu? ॥३॥

aaj pat peetakee chhabi paaee ||
shyaamaghataa jur saghan dekhiyat nhenee boonden aaee ||1||

morachand shir mukut biraajat indr dhanush tihi thaanee ||
kaanan kundal daaminee damakat varasat neer suhaaee ||2||

moteenamaal maano bag pangati sundarataa jharalaaee ||
Soordaas prabhu kahaanlo baranon yah chhabikee adhikaaee ||3||
