आजमें देखे कुंवर कन्हाई ॥ प्रातसमें निकसे गायनसंग श्याम घटाजुरि आई ॥१॥ पीतवसन पहरें तन सुंदर कसुंभी पाग सुहाई ॥ मुक्तामाल रुरत उर ऊपर मुरली मधुर बजाई ॥२॥ कहाकहों अंग अंगकी शोभा मोपें वरणी न जाई ॥ श्रीविट्ठल गिरिधर देखेतें क्योहूं कल न पराई ॥३॥

आजमें देखे कुंवर कन्हाई ॥ प्रातसमें निकसे गायनसंग श्याम घटाजुरि आई ॥१॥
Today I beheld Prince Kanhaiya. At dawn He came out with the cows, looking like a mass of dark rainclouds gathered together. ॥१॥

पीतवसन पहरें तन सुंदर कसुंभी पाग सुहाई ॥ मुक्तामाल रुरत उर ऊपर मुरली मधुर बजाई ॥२॥
He wore yellow garments upon His beautiful form, and a lovely saffron-colored turban. A pearl garland rested upon His chest, and He played the flute sweetly. ॥२॥

कहाकहों अंग अंगकी शोभा मोपें वरणी न जाई ॥ श्रीविट्ठल गिरिधर देखेतें क्योहूं कल न पराई ॥३॥
How can I tell the beauty of each of His limbs? I am unable to describe it. On beholding Shri Vitthal Giridhar, how could I belong anywhere else? ॥३॥

aajamen dekhe kunvar Kanhaaee ||
praatasamen nikase gaayanasang shyaam ghataajuri aaee ||1||

peetavasan paharen tan sundar kasumbhee paag suhaaee ||
muktaamaal rurat ur oopar muralee madhur bajaaee ||2||

kahaakahon ang angakee shobhaa mopen varanee na jaaee ||
Shreevitthal Giridhar dekheten kyohoon kal na paraaee ||3||
