आंगन उजारे बैठ करो हो कलेऊ लाल भवन अंधेरो हे कहें मैया ॥ घुमडी घन घटा आई चहुंदिश तें छाई हंसत खरे दोऊ भैया ॥१॥ माखन मिश्री ओर ओट्यो पय प्यावत मथ मथ दूधको घैया ॥ एसो सुख देख नंददास प्रभुकी पुन पुन लेत बलैया ॥२॥

आंगन उजारे बैठ करो हो कलेऊ लाल भवन अंधेरो हे कहें मैया ॥ घुमडी घन घटा आई चहुंदिश तें छाई हंसत खरे दोऊ भैया ॥१॥
“Lal, sit and take your morning meal here in the bright courtyard; it is dark inside the house,” says Maiya. Dense rainclouds have gathered and spread across all directions, while the two brothers stand there smiling. ॥१॥

माखन मिश्री ओर ओट्यो पय प्यावत मथ मथ दूधको घैया ॥ एसो सुख देख नंददास प्रभुकी पुन पुन लेत बलैया ॥२॥
She gives them butter and mishri, along with thickened milk, and lovingly serves them fresh milk. Beholding such joy, Nanddas offers himself again and again to Prabhu. ॥२॥

aangan ujaare baith karo ho kaleoo laal bhavan andhero he kahen maiyaa ||
ghumadee ghan ghataa aaee chahundish ten chhaaee hansat khare dooo bhaiyaa ||1||

maakhan miShree or otyo pay pyaavat math math doodhako ghaiyaa ||
eso sukh dekh nandadaas prabhukee pun pun let balaiyaa ||2||
