अपने लालको ब्याह करूंगी, बडे गोपकी बेटी ॥ जासो हमसों जतिया चारो भोजन भेटा भेटी ॥१॥ मात यशोदा लाड लडावे अंग शृंगार करावे ॥ कस्तुरीको तिलक बनावे चंदन पीत चढावे ॥२॥ कहिरी मैया कब लावेगी मोंको दुलहैया नीकी ॥ परोस परोस के मोहि खवावे रोटी चुपरी घीकी ॥३॥ ये सब सखा बरात चलेंगे हुंव चढुंगो घोरी ॥ जन परमानंद पान खवावे बीरा भरभर झोरी ॥४॥

अपने लालको ब्याह करूंगी | Apane Lalako Byah Karungi

(राग सारंग | Raga Sarang)

अपने लालको ब्याह करूंगी, बडे गोपकी बेटी ॥
I shall marry my dear son to the daughter of a great cowherd. ॥

जासो हमसों जतिया चारो भोजन भेटा भेटी ॥१॥
With her, our families will have the four kinds of food and gifts exchanged between one another. ॥१ ॥

मात यशोदा लाड लडावे अंग शृंगार करावे ॥
Mother Yashodā lovingly dotes on Him and adorns His body.

कस्तुरीको तिलक बनावे चंदन पीत चढावे ॥२॥
She makes a musk tilak for Him and applies yellow sandalwood paste. ॥२ ॥

कहिरी मैया कब लावेगी मोंको दुलहैया नीकी ॥
“Tell me, Mother, when will You bring me a good bride?”

परोस परोस के मोहि खवावे रोटी चुपरी घीकी ॥३॥
“She will serve me and feed me, one by one, rotis spread with ghee.” ॥३ ॥

ये सब सखा बरात चलेंगे हुंव चढुंगो घोरी ॥
All these friends will go with the wedding party; I shall mount the mare.

जन परमानंद पान खवावे बीरा भरभर झोरी ॥४॥
Paramānand says: He will feed everyone betel leaves and fill their bags with betel nuts. ॥४ ॥

apne laalako byaah karoongee, bade gopakee betee ||
jaaso hamason jatiyaa chaaro bhojan bhetaa bhetee ||1||

maat Yashodaa laad ladaave ang shringaar karaave ||
kastureeko tilak banaave chandan peet chadhaave ||2||

kahiree maiyaa kab laavegee monko dulahaiyaa neekee ||
paros paros ke mohi khavaave rotee chuparee gheekee ||3||

ye sab sakhaa baraat chalenge hunv chadhungo ghoree ||
jan paramaanand paan khavaave beeraa bharabhar jhoree ||4||
