अरीहो या मग निकसी आय अचानक कान्हकुंवर ठाढे आपनी पोर ॥ दृष्टिसों दृष्टिमिली रोमरोम सीतल भई तनमें उठीहै कींधो कामरोर ॥१॥ लालपाग झुक रही भ्रोंहनपर स्याम गातकिये चंदनकी खोर ॥ सूरदासप्रभु सर्वस्व हरके चलें मनमें आवत कैंधो मिलोरी दौरी ॥१॥

अरीहो या मग निकसी आय अचानक कान्हकुंवर ठाढे आपनी पोर ॥ दृष्टिसों दृष्टिमिली रोमरोम सीतल भई तनमें उठीहै कींधो कामरोर ॥१॥
“O dear friend! As I came out onto this path, I suddenly saw young prince Kanhaiya standing at His doorway. When my eyes met His, every part of my being felt soothed, and it seemed as though a wave of love had arisen within me.” ॥१॥

लालपाग झुक रही भ्रोंहनपर स्याम गातकिये चंदनकी खोर ॥ सूरदासप्रभु सर्वस्व हरके चलें मनमें आवत कैंधो मिलोरी दौरी ॥१॥
“His red turban was tilted gracefully over His eyebrows, and His beautiful dark body was adorned with sandalwood markings. Surdas says, ‘The Lord stole everything that was mine and walked away. My heart longs to run after Him and meet Him again!’” ॥१॥
