अति सुंदर मणि जटित पालनो झूलत लाल विहारी ॥ खेलत फाग सखा संगलीनो नाचत दे करतारी ॥१॥ घर घरतें आई बनबनके पहरें नौतनसारी ॥ तनक गुलाल अबीर नलेले छिरकत राधा प्यारी ॥२॥ गावत गारी आनंद में प्रमुदित फूलीं अंगसुकुमारी ॥ चोवाचंदन अगरकुमकुमा देत शीसतें ढारी ॥३॥ लपटरहे तन वसन रंगमें लागतहे सुखकारी ॥ देख विवशमये मोहन पीय भरलीनी अंकवारी ॥४॥ मिसहीमिस ढिंगआय पालनो झूलवत वृजकीनारी ॥ अबीर गुलाल लगाय कपोलन हंसत देदे करतारी ॥५॥ तनमन मिली प्रान पीयासों नौतन शोभा वाढी ॥ शिथिल वसन मुकुलित कच कबरी प्रेमसिंधुतें काढी ॥६॥ यह सुख रितु वसंत लीलामें बालकेलि सुखकारी ॥ सरबस देत वारप्यारे पै जनगोविंद बलिहारी ॥७॥

अति सुंदर मणि जटित पालनो झूलत लाल विहारी ॥
Lāl Bihārī swings in a very beautiful cradle decorated with jewels.

खेलत फाग सखा संगलीनो नाचत दे करतारी ॥१॥
Playing Phāg with His friends, He dances and claps His hands. ॥१ ॥

घर घरतें आई बनबनके पहरें नौतनसारी ॥
The women come from every home, each dressed in fresh new clothes.

तनक गुलाल अबीर नलेले छिरकत राधा प्यारी ॥२॥
Dear Rādhā sprinkles a little gulāl and abīr. ॥२ ॥

गावत गारी आनंद में प्रमुदित फूलीं अंगसुकुमारी ॥
They sing playful Holī songs in great joy, and their tender bodies are filled with delight.

चोवाचंदन अगरकुमकुमा देत शीसतें ढारी ॥३॥
They pour chovā, sandalwood, agaru, and kuṅkum over His head. ॥३ ॥

लपटरहे तन वसन रंगमें लागतहे सुखकारी ॥
Their clothes cling to their bodies with the colors, and this gives them joy.

देख विवशमये मोहन पीय भरलीनी अंकवारी ॥४॥
Seeing Mohan thus overcome with joy, His beloved embraces Him fully. ॥४ ॥

मिसहीमिस ढिंगआय पालनो झूलवत वृजकीनारी ॥
Again and again, the women of Vraj come near and swing the cradle.

अबीर गुलाल लगाय कपोलन हंसत देदे करतारी ॥५॥
They put abīr and gulāl on His cheeks, laughing and clapping their hands. ॥५ ॥

तनमन मिली प्रान पीयासों नौतन शोभा वाढी ॥
With body and mind joined in the joy of their Beloved, their fresh beauty increases.

शिथिल वसन मुकुलित कच कबरी प्रेमसिंधुतें काढी ॥६॥
With loosened clothes and partly opened braided hair, they emerge as if from an ocean of love. ॥६ ॥

यह सुख रितु वसंत लीलामें बालकेलि सुखकारी ॥
This is the joyful play of the children in the spring season, bringing great happiness.

सरबस देत वारप्यारे पै जनगोविंद बलिहारी ॥७॥
Giving everything to the Beloved, Jangovind offers himself completely to Him. ॥७ ॥

lapatarahe tan vasan rangamen laagatahe sukhakaaree ||
dekh vivashamaye mohan peey bharaleenee ankavaaree ||4||

misaheemis dhingaaay paalano jhoolavat vrijakeenaaree ||
abeer gulaal lagaay kapolan hansat dede karataaree ||5||

tanaman milee praan peeyaason nautan shobhaa vaadhee ||
