बात नहीं सुतलायलियो ॥ तबलोंदधिमथजननी यशोदामाखनकर हरिहाथदियो ॥१॥ लैलैअधरपरसकर जेंवतदेखत फूल्योमातहियो ॥ आपुहिखात प्रसंसत आपुहि मांखनरोटी बहुतप्रियो ॥२॥ जोप्रभुशिवसनकादिक दुर्लभसुतहित वशभयेनंदत्रियो ॥ यहसुखनिरखत सूरप्रभुको धन्य धन्य पलसुफलजियो ॥३॥

बात नहीं सुतलायलियो ॥ तबलोंदधिमथजननी यशोदामाखनकर हरिहाथदियो ॥१॥
“Do not talk, my son. Take this.” Mother Yashoda continued churning the curd until she placed some butter in Hari’s hand. ॥१॥

लैलैअधरपरसकर जेंवतदेखत फूल्योमातहियो ॥ आपुहिखात प्रसंसत आपुहि मांखनरोटी बहुतप्रियो ॥२॥
Watching Hari take the food, bring it to His lips, and eat, His mother’s heart filled with joy. He ate by Himself and praised the food Himself, for He loved butter and roti very much. ॥२॥

जोप्रभुशिवसनकादिक दुर्लभसुतहित वशभयेनंदत्रियो ॥ यहसुखनिरखत सूरप्रभुको धन्य धन्य पलसुफलजियो ॥३॥
The Lord who is difficult for even Shiva, Sanaka, and other sages to attain has come under the loving influence of Nand’s wife because of her motherly affection. Surdas says, “Beholding this joy of the Lord, blessed, blessed is this moment, and fruitful is my life.” ॥३॥

joprabhushivasanakaadik durlabhasutahit vashabhayenandatriyo ||
yahasukhanirakhat sooraprabhuko dhany dhany palasuphalajiyo ||3||
