बनतें बने माई गिरिधर आवत ॥ सीसदुमालो अति छबिपावत मनमथ कोटि लजावत ॥१॥ गायनके पाछे चले आवत भ्रोंहन भैद जनावत नंददास प्रभु करख लियो चित ग्रह अंगना न सुहावत ॥२॥

बनतें बने माई गिरिधर आवत ॥ सीसदुमालो अति छबिपावत मनमथ कोटि लजावत ॥१॥
O mother, Giridhar comes beautifully adorned from the forest. The dumala upon His head looks exceedingly lovely, putting millions of Kamadevas to shame. ॥१॥

गायनके पाछे चले आवत भ्रोंहन भैद जनावत नंददास प्रभु करख लियो चित ग्रह अंगना न सुहावत ॥२॥
He comes walking behind the cows, expressing His feelings through His eyebrows. Nanddas says, the Lord has stolen my heart, and now neither my home nor my courtyard seems pleasing to me. ॥२॥

banaten bane maaee Giridhar aavat ||
seesadumaalo ati chhabipaavat manamath koti lajaavat ||1||

gaayanake paachhe chale aavat bhronhan bhaid janaavat nandadaas prabhu karakh liyo chit grah anganaa na suhaavat ||2||
