बनठन भोगी रस बिलसनकों भोर भवन ठाडे पिय प्यारी ।। ओढे कवाय फरगुल जो परस्पर सीत समय सुंदर सुख कारी ।।१।। ऋतु हेमंत शिशिर दोर ठाडी लेकर सोंज विविध रुचिकारी ।। कृष्णदास प्रभुको मुख निरखत अति आतुर भये पिय प्यारी ।।२।।

बनठन भोगी रस बिलसनकों भोर भवन ठाडे पिय प्यारी ।।
Beautifully adorned, Piya and Pyari stand in the bhavan at dawn.

ओढे कवाय फरगुल जो परस्पर सीत समय सुंदर सुख कारी ।।१।।
They wear warm kavay and fargul garments, beautiful and comforting in the cold season. ।।१।।

ऋतु हेमंत शिशिर दोर ठाडी लेकर सोंज विविध रुचिकारी ।।
Hemant and Shishir seem to stand at the doorway, bringing many pleasing comforts suited to the season.

कृष्णदास प्रभुको मुख निरखत अति आतुर भये पिय प्यारी ।।२।।
Krishnadas says: Piya and Pyari gaze eagerly upon each other’s faces. ।।२।।
