बोले माई गोवर्धनपर मुरवा ॥ तेसीये श्याम घन मुरली बजाई तेसेही उठे झुकधुरवा ॥१॥ बडी बडी बूंदन वर्षन लाग्यो पवन चलत अति झुरवा ॥ सूरदास प्रभु तुम्हारे मिलन कों निश जागत भयो भुरवा ॥२॥

बोले माई गोवर्धनपर मुरवा ॥ तेसीये श्याम घन मुरली बजाई तेसेही उठे झुकधुरवा ॥१॥
Mother, the peacocks are calling upon Govardhan. In just that way, dark-cloud Shyam plays His flute, and the clouds rise and bend low. ॥१॥

बडी बडी बूंदन वर्षन लाग्यो पवन चलत अति झुरवा ॥ सूरदास प्रभु तुम्हारे मिलन कों निश जागत भयो भुरवा ॥२॥
Large raindrops begin to fall, and the wind blows strongly. Surdas says: Prabhu, longing to meet You, I remained awake through the night until dawn. ॥२॥

bole maaee govardhanapar muravaa ||
teseeye shyaam ghan muralee bajaaee tesehee uthe jhukadhuravaa ||1||

badee badee boondan varshan laagyo pavan chalat ati jhuravaa ||
Soordaas prabhu tumhaare milan kon nish jaagat bhayo bhuravaa ||2||
