चलो क्यों न देखेरी खरे दोऊ कुंजनकी परछांही ॥ एक भुजा गहि डार कदंबकी दूजीभुजा गलबांही ॥१॥ छबिसों छबीली लपट लटक रही कनकवेली तरुतमाल अरुझाई ॥ हरिदासके स्वामी स्यामा कुंजविहारी रंगेहैं प्रेमरंग माँही ॥२॥

चलो क्यों न देखेरी खरे दोऊ कुंजनकी परछांही ॥ एक भुजा गहि डार कदंबकी दूजीभुजा गलबांही ॥१॥
“Come, why do you not go and see? The two of Them are standing in the shade of the grove. With one arm, the branch of a kadamba tree is held, and with the other arm there is an embrace around the neck.” ॥१॥

छबिसों छबीली लपट लटक रही कनकवेली तरुतमाल अरुझाई ॥ हरिदासके स्वामी स्यामा कुंजविहारी रंगेहैं प्रेमरंग माँही ॥२॥
“The lovely one clings there so beautifully, like a golden creeper entwined around a dark tamal tree. Haridas says that Shyama and Kunjvihari are completely absorbed in the color of love.” ॥२॥
