चंदन की खोर किये चंदन घस अंग लगावे सोंधेकी लपट झपट पवन फहरनमें ॥ प्यारी के पिया को नेम पियके प्यारी सो प्रेम अरसपरस रीझ रीझावे जेठकी दुपेहरीमें ॥१॥ चहुं ओर खस सँवार जल गुलाब डारडार सीतल भवन कीयो कुंज महलमें ॥ सोभा कछु कही न जाय निरख नैन सचुपाय पवन दुरावे परमानंददास टहलमें ॥२॥

चंदन की खोर किये चंदन घस अंग लगावे सोंधेकी लपट झपट पवन फहरनमें ॥ प्यारी के पिया को नेम पियके प्यारी सो प्रेम अरसपरस रीझ रीझावे जेठकी दुपेहरीमें ॥१॥
They make a sandalwood paste, rub it well, and apply it to the body. Its pleasant fragrance spreads as the breeze gently carries it through the air. In the intense midday heat of Jeth, the beloved lovingly delights His beloved, and she delights Him in return, as they enjoy each other’s love. ॥१॥

चहुं ओर खस सँवार जल गुलाब डारडार सीतल भवन कीयो कुंज महलमें ॥ सोभा कछु कही न जाय निरख नैन सचुपाय पवन दुरावे परमानंददास टहलमें ॥२॥
All around, khus grass is arranged and rose water is sprinkled, making the grove-palace cool and pleasant. Its beauty cannot be described. Parmanand Das says, “Seeing this beauty with my own eyes, I quietly serve them, gently keeping the breeze away.” ॥२॥
