छगनमगन बारे कन्हैया नेंकु उर धों आउरे लाल । बनमें खेलन जात लाल व्है रहे सब मलिन गात अपने लालकी लैहुँ बलायरे लाल ॥१॥ संगके लरिका सब बनि ठनि आये यों कहेंगे कैसी है तेरी मायरे लाल । यशोदा गहत धाय बैयाँ मोहन करत न्हैयाँ न्हैयाँ नंददास बलिजायरे लाल ॥२॥

छगनमगन बारे कन्हैया नेंकु उर धों आउरे लाल । बनमें खेलन जात लाल व्है रहे सब मलिन गात अपने लालकी लैहुँ बलायरे लाल ॥१॥  
My playful little Kanhaiya, come close to my heart, dear child. You go to play in the forest and return with Your whole body covered in dust; I offer myself to ward away all harm from my beloved child. ॥१॥

संगके लरिका सब बनि ठनि आये यों कहेंगे कैसी है तेरी मायरे लाल । यशोदा गहत धाय बैयाँ मोहन करत न्हैयाँ न्हैयाँ नंददास बलिजायरे लाल ॥२॥  
All the other children with You have come back neatly dressed; they will say, “What kind of mother do You have, dear child?” Yashoda runs to take Mohan by the arms and lovingly bathes Him. Nanddas offers himself to You, dear child. ॥२॥

## Transliteration

chhaganamagan baare kanhaiyaa nenku ur dhon aaure laal |
banamen khelan jaat laal vhai rahe sab malin gaat apne laalakee laihun balaayare laal ||1||

sangake larikaa sab bani thani aaye yon kahenge kaisee hai teree maayare laal |
Yashodaa gahat dhaay baiyaan mohan karat nhaiyaan nhaiyaan nandadaas balijaayare laal ||2||
