दधिमथतगवालगरवीलीरी ॥ रुनकझुनक कटिकिंकिणी बाजत बाह झूलावतढीलीरी ॥१॥ कमलनयन दधिमांखनमांगत नाहिनदेतहठीलीरी ॥ भरीगुमान विलोवत ठाडी अपनेरंगरंगीलीरी ॥२॥ हँस दीनों नंदलाललाडिलो मीठीसीबात कहीलीरी ॥ सूरदास मनहरनमनोहर सर्वस्वदियो है छबीलीरी ॥३॥

दधिमथतगवालगरवीलीरी ॥ रुनकझुनक कटिकिंकिणी बाजत बाह झूलावतढीलीरी ॥१॥
A proud cowherd girl is churning curd. The little bells at her waist ring with a tinkling sound as she loosely swings her arms. ॥१॥

कमलनयन दधिमांखनमांगत नाहिनदेतहठीलीरी ॥ भरीगुमान विलोवत ठाडी अपनेरंगरंगीलीरी ॥२॥
The lotus-eyed One asks for curd and butter, but this stubborn girl does not give it. Standing there and churning, full of pride, she is absorbed in her own playful mood. ॥२॥

हँस दीनों नंदलाललाडिलो मीठीसीबात कहीलीरी ॥ सूरदास मनहरनमनोहर सर्वस्वदियो है छबीलीरी ॥३॥
Then dear Nandlal smiled and spoke sweetly. Surdas says: that lovely girl has given her all to the beautiful One who steals the heart. ॥३॥
