देखौ यह विपरित नई । अभुतरूप नारि एक आई कपट हेत क्यों सहे दई ॥१॥ कान्हहि लै जसुमति कोवातें रुचि लै कंठ लगाई । तब उन देह धरी जोजनि लों श्याम रहे लपटाई ॥२॥ बड़े भाग है नंदमहरकौ बड़भागिनि नंदरानी । सूरश्याम उर ऊपर उबरे यह सब घर घर जानी ॥३॥

देखौ यह विपरित नई | Dekhau Yah Viparit Nai

देखौ यह विपरित नई ।
अभुतरूप नारि एक आई कपट हेत क्यों सहे दई ॥१॥
Look, this is a strange new reversal: a woman of wondrous beauty came, but why was she allowed, when her purpose was deceit? ॥१॥

कान्हहि लै जसुमति कोवातें रुचि लै कंठ लगाई ।
तब उन देह धरी जोजनि लों श्याम रहे लपटाई ॥२॥
Taking Kanh from Jasumati's chamber, she lovingly held Him to her neck; then her body stretched for a yojan, while Shyam remained clinging to her ॥२॥

बड़े भाग है नंदमहरकौ बड़भागिनि नंदरानी ।
सूरश्याम उर ऊपर उबरे यह सब घर घर जानी ॥३॥
Great is the fortune of Nanda Maharaj, and greatly fortunate is Nandarani; Sur says, Shyam was found safe upon her chest, and this became known in every house ॥३॥

dekhau yah viparit naee |
abhutaroop naari ek aaee kapat het kyon sahe daee ||1||

kaanhahi lai jasumati kovaaten ruchi lai kanth lagaaee |
tab un deh dharee jojani lon shyaam rahe lapataaee ||2||

bare bhaag hai nandamaharakau barabhaagini nandaraanee |
soorashyaam ur oopar ubare yah sab ghar ghar jaanee ||3||
