देखो माई अति बनेहें गोपाल ॥ तन राजतहे श्याम पिछोरा श्याम पाग धर भाल ॥१॥ स्याम उपरना श्यामही फेंटा श्याम घटा अति लाल ॥ रसिक प्रीतम अबकें जो पाऊं गरें धराऊं वनमाल ॥२॥

देखो माई अति बनेहें गोपाल ॥ तन राजतहे श्याम पिछोरा श्याम पाग धर भाल ॥१॥
Mother, behold how beautifully Gopal is adorned. A dark-colored pichhora shines upon His body, and a dark turban adorns His head. ॥१॥

स्याम उपरना श्यामही फेंटा श्याम घटा अति लाल ॥ रसिक प्रीतम अबकें जो पाऊं गरें धराऊं वनमाल ॥२॥
His upper cloth is dark, His sash too is dark, and He appears like a deeply beautiful raincloud. If I meet my rasika Pritam now, I will place a vanamala around His neck. ॥२॥

dekho maaee ati banehen Gopaal ||
tan raajatahe shyaam pichhoraa shyaam paag dhar bhaal ||1||

syaam uparanaa shyaamahee phentaa shyaam ghataa ati laal ||
rasik preetam abaken jo paaoon garen dharaaoon vanamaal ||2||
