देखो माई सांवन दूल्हे आयो ॥ शीश शेहरो सरस गजमुक्ता हीरा बहुत जरायो ॥१॥ लाल पिछोरा सोहे सुंदर सोवत मदन जगायो ॥ तेसीये वृषभान नंदिनी ललिता मंगल गायो ॥२॥ दादुर मोर पपैया बोलत बदरा बराती आयो ॥ सूरदास प्रभु तिहारे दरशकों दामिनि दरस दिखायो ॥३॥

देखो माई सांवन दूल्हे | Dekho Mai Sanvan Dulhe

देखो माई सांवन दूल्हे आयो ॥ शीश शेहरो सरस गजमुक्ता हीरा बहुत जरायो ॥१॥
Mother, behold—the bridegroom of Savan has arrived. Upon His head is a beautiful sehra, richly adorned with large pearls and many diamonds. ॥१॥

लाल पिछोरा सोहे सुंदर सोवत मदन जगायो ॥ तेसीये वृषभान नंदिनी ललिता मंगल गायो ॥२॥
A red pichhora shines beautifully upon Him, awakening even Madan from sleep. Vrishabhanu’s daughter is adorned in the same way, while Lalita sings auspicious songs. ॥२॥

दादुर मोर पपैया बोलत बदरा बराती आयो ॥ सूरदास प्रभु तिहारे दरशकों दामिनि दरस दिखायो ॥३॥
The frogs, peacocks, and papiha birds call out, while the clouds have come like members of the wedding procession. Surdas says: O Prabhu, even the lightning has appeared to behold Your darshan. ॥३॥

dekho maaee saanvan doolhe aayo ||
sheesh sheharo saras gajamuktaa heeraa bahut jaraayo ||1||

laal pichhoraa sohe sundar sovat madan jagaayo ||
teseeye vrishabhaan nandinee lalitaa mangal gaayo ||2||

daadur mor papaiyaa bolat badaraa baraatee aayo ||
Soordaas prabhu tihaare darashakon daamini daras dikhaayo ||3||
