देखरी देख नवकुंज घन सघन तर ठाडे गिरिवरधरन रंग भीने। मुकुट सिर लाल कटि काछिनी बेनु कर राधिका संग भुज अंस दीने ॥१॥ मकरकुंडल सवन झलक अंग पर रही मानों चंदन जु तन खोर कीने ॥ निरखि गोविन्द छबि सघन नंदनंदकी बारि तनमन दोउ प्रेम भीने ॥२॥

देखरी देख नवकुंज घन सघन तर ठाडे गिरिवरधरन रंग भीने। मुकुट सिर लाल कटि काछिनी बेनु कर राधिका संग भुज अंस दीने ॥१॥
Look, friend, look — Girivardhar is standing beneath the thick, dense new bower, drenched in loving beauty. A crown is upon His head, a red waistcloth is tied at His waist, a flute is in His hand, and with Radha beside Him He has placed His arm upon her shoulder. ॥१॥

मकरकुंडल सवन झलक अंग पर रही मानों चंदन जु तन खोर कीने ॥ निरखि गोविन्द छबि सघन नंदनंदकी बारि तनमन दोउ प्रेम भीने ॥२॥
The radiance of His makara-shaped earrings flashes at His ears and falls upon His limbs, as though sandalwood paste had been spread upon His body. Beholding the deep beauty of Nanda’s son, Govind says: I am offered up — both body and mind are soaked in love. ॥२॥

## Transliteration

dekharee dekh navakunj ghan saghan tar thaade girivaradharan rang bheene |
mukut sir laal kati kaachhinee benu kar Raadhikaa sang bhuj ans deene ||1||

makarakundal savan jhalak ang par rahee maanon chandan ju tan khor keene ||
nirakhi Govind chhabi saghan nandanandakee baari tanaman dou prem bheene ||2||
