धन्य वह कूँखि जन्म जहां लीनो गिरिधारी ॥ लरिका कहा बहुत सुत जाये जो न होय उपकारी ॥१ ॥ एक सो लाख बराबर गिनियें करे जो कुल रखवारी ॥ अति आनंद कहत गोपीजन मन क्रम वचन विचारी ॥२ ॥ इंद्र कोप कीनो व्रज ऊपर मघवा गर्व निवारी ॥ परमानंद दासको ठाकुर गोवृन्दावन चारी ॥३ ॥

धन्य वह कूँखि | Dhanya Vah Kunkhi

धन्य वह कूँखि जन्म जहां लीनो गिरिधारी ॥
लरिका कहा बहुत सुत जाये जो न होय उपकारी ॥१ ॥
“Blessed is the womb from which Giridhari was born! What is the use of having many sons if they are of no help to others?” ॥१॥

एक सो लाख बराबर गिनियें करे जो कुल रखवारी ॥
अति आनंद कहत गोपीजन मन क्रम वचन विचारी ॥२ ॥
“One such son is equal to a hundred thousand if he protects his whole family.” Filled with immense joy, the Gopis say this with complete sincerity in thought, deed, and word. ॥२॥

इंद्र कोप कीनो व्रज ऊपर मघवा गर्व निवारी ॥
Indra became angry with Vraj, but Giridhari brought Maghava’s pride to an end.

परमानंद दासको ठाकुर गोवृन्दावन चारी ॥३ ॥
Paramananddas says: his Thakur is the One who tends the cows in Vrindavan. ॥३॥

dhany vah koonkhi janm jahaan leeno giridhaaree ||
larikaa kahaa bahut sut jaaye jo na hoy upakaaree ||1||

ek so laakh baraabar giniyen kare jo kul rakhavaaree ||
ati aanand kahat gopeejan man kram vachan vichaaree ||2||

indr kop keeno Vraj oopar maghavaa garv nivaaree ||
paramaanand daasako thaakur govrindaavan chaaree ||3||
