धरे टेढी पाग टेढी चंद्रिका टेढे त्रिभंगीलाल ॥ कुंडलकिरण मानों कोटि रवि उदय होत उर राजत वनमाल ॥१॥ सांवरे वदन पीतांबर ओढे बजावत मुरली मधुर रसाल ॥ नंददास बनते व्रज आवत संगलिये व्रजबाल ॥२॥

धरे टेढी पाग टेढी चंद्रिका टेढे त्रिभंगीलाल ॥  
कुंडलकिरण मानों कोटि रवि उदय होत उर राजत वनमाल ॥१॥
He wears a tilted turban, a tilted crest-ornament, and dear Lal stands in His graceful threefold-bending posture. The radiance of His earrings is as if millions of suns were rising, and the garland of forest flowers shines upon His chest. ॥१॥

सांवरे वदन पीतांबर ओढे बजावत मुरली मधुर रसाल ॥  
नंददास बनते व्रज आवत संगलिये व्रजबाल ॥२॥
With His dark, beautiful face and yellow garment wrapped around Him, He plays the flute with sweet melody. Nanddas says: He comes from the forest back to Vraj, bringing the cowherd boys with Him. ॥२॥

dhare tedhee paag tedhee chandrikaa tedhe tribhangeelaal ||
kundalakiran maanon koti ravi uday hot ur raajat vanamaal ||1||

saanware vadan peetaambar odhe bajaavat muralee madhur rasaal ||
nandadaas banate Vraj aavat sangaliye vrajabaal ||2||
