ढोटा मेरी दोहनी दुराई ॥ मौपेंते लीनी देखनको यह धोंकों नवडाई ॥१॥ निपट सवेरीहों उठ आतुर खिरक दुहावन आई ॥ जान अकेली यादोटानें बहुत भांति खिजाई ॥२॥ द्वार उधार खोलदीये बछराव खटगैया चुखाई ॥ हों पचिहारी कहीनहीं मानत वर्जत नाकेंआई ॥३॥ घर मेरी सास त्रासेगीहौं कहा उत्तर देहूं जाई ॥ परमानंदप्रभु तव हँसदीनो भई बात मनभाई ॥४॥

ढोटा मेरी दोहनी दुराई ॥ मौपेंते लीनी देखनको यह धोंकों नवडाई ॥१॥
“This little boy has hidden my milking pot! He took it from me. Perhaps He has done this just to see me. What a new kind of mischief is this?” ॥१॥

निपट सवेरीहों उठ आतुर खिरक दुहावन आई ॥ जान अकेली यादोटानें बहुत भांति खिजाई ॥२॥
“I got up very early in the morning and hurried to the cowshed to have the cows milked. Finding me alone, this little boy has troubled me in so many ways.” ॥२॥

द्वार उधार खोलदीये बछराव खटगैया चुखाई ॥ हों पचिहारी कहीनहीं मानत वर्जत नाकेंआई ॥३॥
“He opened the doors, let the calves loose, and allowed them to drink their mothers’ milk. I am exhausted from trying to stop Him. He pays no attention to what I say, and I cannot restrain Him.” ॥३॥

घर मेरी सास त्रासेगीहौं कहा उत्तर देहूं जाई ॥ परमानंदप्रभु तव हँसदीनो भई बात मनभाई ॥४॥
“When I return home, my mother-in-law will scold me. What shall I say to her?” Parmanand says that the Lord then smiled, for her words pleased Him. ॥४॥

maupente leenee dekhanako yah dhonkon navadaaee ||1||

nipat savereehon uth aatur khirak duhaavan aaee ||
jaan akelee yaadotaanen bahut bhaanti khijaaee ||2||

dvaar udhaar kholadeeye bachharaav khatagaiyaa chukhaaee ||
hon pachihaaree kaheenaheen maanat varjat naakenaaee ||3||

ghar meree saas traasegeehaun kahaa uttar dehoon jaaee ||
paramaanandaprabhu tav hansadeeno bhaee baat manabhaaee ||4||
