दूध पिवावत जसोदा मैया ॥ धोरी धेनुको काढ अपने कर तामें मधुर मिलाय मिठईयां ॥१॥ तातो कर्यो कटोरा सुंदर बहुतसुगंध मिलैया । ले कर प्यावत स्याम मधुर सुख 'जन गिरिधर' जननी बल जैया ॥२॥

दूध पिवावत जसोदा मैया ॥ धोरी धेनुको काढ अपने कर तामें मधुर मिलाय मिठईयां ॥१॥
Mother Yashoda lovingly gives little Krishna milk to drink. She has milked the light-coloured cow with her own hands and added sweet ingredients to make the milk delicious. ॥१॥

तातो कर्यो कटोरा सुंदर बहुतसुगंध मिलैया । ले कर प्यावत स्याम मधुर सुख 'जन गिरिधर' जननी बल जैया ॥२॥
She warms the milk in a beautiful bowl and adds many fragrant ingredients. Holding the bowl in her hands, she lovingly gives Shyam the sweet milk to drink. Jan Giridhar says that Mother Yashoda is filled with such happiness that she lovingly offers herself in devotion to her darling child. ॥२॥
