दुहि दुहि लावत धोरी गैया । कमल नैनको अति भावत है मथि मथि प्यावत घैया ॥ मोहन भूख अधिक जबलागी छाक बांटि पियोरै मैया। ऐसो स्वाद हम कबहु न चाख्यो अपनीसोंह कनैया ॥ हंसि हंसि ग्वाल कहेत हे मोहन सों सुनि गोकुल के रैया । परमानंद दास को ठाकुर पुनि पुनि लेत बलैया ॥

## English meaning

दुहि दुहि लावत | Duhi Duhi Lavat

(राग आसावरी | Raga Asavari)

दुहि दुहि लावत धोरी गैया । कमल नैनको अति भावत है मथि मथि प्यावत घैया ॥
They milk the white cows and bring the milk home again and again. The lotus-eyed Kanhaiya loves it very much, and the cowherd women churn it and give Him some to drink.

मोहन भूख अधिक जबलागी छाक बांटि पियोरै मैया। ऐसो स्वाद हम कबहु न चाख्यो अपनीसोंह कनैया ॥
“When Mohan becomes very hungry, Mother, share out the food and give Him some to eat and drink.” Kanhaiya says, “I swear by You, I have never tasted anything so delicious!”

हंसि हंसि ग्वाल कहेत हे मोहन सों सुनि गोकुल के रैया । परमानंद दास को ठाकुर पुनि पुनि लेत बलैया ॥
The cowherds laugh and speak to Mohan, while the Lord of Gokul listens. Parmananddas repeatedly offers himself in loving devotion to his Thakurji.

duhi duhi laavat dhoree gaiyaa |
kamal nainako ati bhaavat hai mathi mathi pyaavat ghaiyaa ||
mohan bhookh adhik jabalaagee chhaak baanti piyorai maiyaa |
aiso svaad ham kabahu na chaakhyo apaneesonh kanaiyaa ||
hansi hansi gvaal kahet he mohan son suni Gokul ke raiyaa |
paramaanand daas ko thaakur puni puni let balaiyaa ||
