ए बसुदेव के दोऊ ढोटा । गौर स्याम तन नील पीत पट कल हंसनि के जोटा ॥ कुंडल एक वाम स्त्रुति जाकें सो रोहिनी कौ अंसु । उर बनमाल देवकी-नंदन जाहि डरत है कंसु ॥ लै राखे ब्रज-सखा नंद गृह बालक-त्रास दुराई । द्वै समान विराट के से लोचन उदित भए हैं आई ॥ काली-दवन पूतना-सोषन लीला-गुननि अगाध । 'परमानँद' प्रभु प्रगट दमन-खलु अभय-करन सुर साधु ॥

ए बसुदेव के | E Basudev Ke

ए बसुदेव के दोऊ ढोटा । गौर स्याम तन नील पीत पट कल हंसनि के जोटा ॥
These are the two sons of Vasudeva. One is fair and the other is dark; one wears blue and the other yellow garments. They are a beautiful pair, like two swans.

कुंडल एक वाम स्त्रुति जाकें सो रोहिनी कौ अंसु । उर बनमाल देवकी-नंदन जाहि डरत है कंसु ॥
One has an earring in his left ear; he is the son of Rohiṇī. The son of Devakī wears a forest-flower garland upon his chest, and Kaṁsa is afraid of Him.

लै राखे ब्रज-सखा नंद गृह बालक-त्रास दुराई । द्वै समान विराट के से लोचन उदित भए हैं आई ॥
Nanda, their friend in Vraj, took them and kept them in his home, keeping the children safe from danger. Their two eyes have appeared, equal to the two eyes of the Supreme Lord, radiant and wide.

काली-दवन पूतना-सोषन लीला-गुननि अगाध । 'परमानँद' प्रभु प्रगट दमन-खलु अभय-करन सुर साधु ॥
His subduing of Kāliya, the destruction of Pūtanā, and His līlās and virtues are boundless. ‘Paramānand’ says: Prabhu has appeared to subdue the wicked and to give fearlessness to the gods and saints.

e basudev ke dooo dhotaa |
gaur syaam tan neel peet pat kal hansani ke jotaa ||
kundal ek vaam struti jaaken so rohinee kau ansu |
ur banamaal devakee-nandan jaahi darat hai kansu ||
lai raakhe Braj-sakhaa Nand grih baalak-traas duraaee |
dvai samaan viraat ke se lochan udit bhae hain aaee ||
kaalee-davan pootanaa-soshan leelaa-gunani agaadh |
'paramaanand' prabhu pragat daman-khalu abhay-karan sur saadhu ||
