एक रीति प्रीति वश कीने मोहन याही तें ब्रजरीति न्यारी । जाकी माया सब जगत नचावत ताहि नचावत घोषकी नारी ॥१॥ जाकी चरन रज ब्रह्मादिक दुर्लभ सो रज व्रजवधू बन बगर बुहारी डारी । सूरदास मदनमोहन जिनके हरि नैन प्रान कहा कहूँ बुद्धि अनुसारी ॥२॥

एक रीति प्रीति वश कीने मोहन याही तें ब्रजरीति न्यारी । जाकी माया सब जगत नचावत ताहि नचावत घोषकी नारी ॥१॥  
By the one way of love, Mohan has been brought under its sway; this is why the way of Vraj is so unique. He whose maya makes the whole world dance is Himself made to dance by the women of the cowherd settlement. ॥१॥

जाकी चरन रज ब्रह्मादिक दुर्लभ सो रज व्रजवधू बन बगर बुहारी डारी । सूरदास मदनमोहन जिनके हरि नैन प्रान कहा कहूँ बुद्धि अनुसारी ॥२॥  
The dust of His feet, which is difficult even for Brahma and others to attain, is swept away and scattered along the forest paths by the women of Vraj. Surdas says: Madanmohan, Hari, is their very eyes and life; how can I describe this according to the limits of my understanding? ॥२॥

## Transliteration

ek reeti preeti vash keene mohan yaahee ten brajareeti nyaaree |
jaakee maayaa sab jagat nachaavat taahi nachaavat ghoshakee naaree ||1||

jaakee charan raj brahmaadik durlabh so raj vrajavadhoo ban bagar buhaaree daaree |
Soordaas madanamohan jinake hari nain praan kahaa kahoon buddhi anusaaree ||2||
