गैया दूर निकस गईं मोहन बगदावो दे हांक ॥ जो ऊंचे चढ टेर सुनावो सब बगदेंगी मेरे जान ॥१॥ वृंदावन में चरत हरित तृण चोंक चमक सुन आछी नीकी तान ॥ दूधधार धरणी सींचत आई गोविंदप्रभुको करत कमल मुखपान ॥२॥

गैया दूर निकस | Gaiya Dur Nikas

गैया दूर निकस गईं मोहन बगदावो दे हांक ॥
जो ऊंचे चढ टेर सुनावो सब बगदेंगी मेरे जान ॥१॥
“The cows have wandered far away, Mohan; call out and bring them back. If You climb up high and let them hear Your call, they will all come running, I know.” ॥१॥

वृंदावन में चरत हरित तृण चोंक चमक सुन आछी नीकी तान ॥
दूधधार धरणी सींचत आई गोविंदप्रभुको करत कमल मुखपान ॥२॥
While grazing on the green grass in Vrindavan, they startle and turn at once on hearing that lovely sweet call. They come streaming back, their milk flowing upon the earth, while their lotus-like faces remain turned toward Govind Prabhu, drinking in His beauty. ॥२॥

gaiyaa door nikas gaeen mohan bagadaavo de haank ||
jo oonche chadh ter sunaavo sab bagadengee mere jaan ||1||

vrindaavan men charat harit trin chonk chamak sun aachhee neekee taan ||
doodhadhaar dharanee seenchat aaee govindaprabhuko karat kamal mukhapaan ||2||
