गंगा पतितन कोसुखदेनी ॥ सेवाकरभगीरथ लाये पापकाटनको पैनी ॥१ ॥ सकल ब्रह्मांड फोरकेआवत चलत चाल गजगयनी ॥ परमानंद प्रभुचरण परसतें भई कमलदल नयनी ॥२ ॥

गंगा पतितन कोसुखदेनी ॥ सेवाकरभगीरथ लाये पापकाटनको पैनी ॥१ ॥
Ganga brings joy to the fallen. Through his devoted service, Bhagirath brought her down; she is powerful in cutting away sins. ॥१ ॥

सकल ब्रह्मांड फोरकेआवत चलत चाल गजगयनी ॥ परमानंद प्रभुचरण परसतें भई कमलदल नयनी ॥२ ॥
Breaking through the entire cosmos, she came forth, moving with the majestic gait of an elephant. Parmanand says: by touching Prabhu’s feet, she became lotus-eyed. ॥२ ॥

gangaa patitan kosukhadenee ||
sevaakarabhageerath laaye paapakaatanako painee ||1||

sakal brahmaand phorakeaavat chalat chaal gajagayanee ||
paramaanand prabhucharan parasaten bhaee kamaladal nayanee ||2||
